Notus staff: firewall support ending Jan. 15, 2025; clerk reports website and billing activity

City Clerk Loretta Vollmer provided operational counts: the city's Google business profile recorded 22 phone calls, 35 direction requests, 33 website visits and 91 profile reviews; seven burn permits were issued, 69 credit-card payments were received, and 235 utility bills were sent totaling $27,563.73.
Vollmer also reported that the office firewall is near end-of-life and that its support license ends on Jan. 15, 2025. Council directed staff to obtain more quotes for a replacement. Two agenda items'a proposed Canyon County vehicle registration fee and a proposed business license'were tabled to a future meeting. The meeting adjourned at 9:29 PM after a motion from Devin Krasowski and a second from Rob Hartsock.
