Council sets public hearing on North 100 North survey and right-of-way adjustments

City staff reported that a recent survey of North 100 North showed sidewalks and right-of-way alignments that differ from recorded lines. The proposed change would adjust the mapped right-of-way (from 99 feet to about 88.5 feet in the block) to match built conditions and allow a hospital expansion to meet a 10-foot setback requirement. Staff said a public hearing, public notice and an ordinance adoption will be required to complete the change and that the matter will be scheduled for the next council meeting.
Why it matters: adopting the corrected right-of-way line would clear a development constraint on a hospital addition and regularize the public-right-of-way record for that block. Council asked staff to prepare the required notices and ordinance language and confirmed a public hearing will be set at the next meeting.
