The Lincoln County Board recessed its commissioners meeting at 9:23 A.M. to convene the Board of Equalization. The BOE approved its July 27, 2026 minutes and then approved two motor-vehicle tax exemption applications as recommended by the County Treasurer: one for the American National Red Cross and one for the North Platte Opportunity Center. Each motion passed by unanimous roll call vote.
The BOE also accepted a letter of explanation for a late homestead exemption filing submitted by Cynthia Ryan; the acceptance was approved by roll call. The Board of Equalization adjourned at 9:31 A.M. and the county commissioners reconvened to continue the agenda.
