Commissioners authorize two special designated liquor permits for September receptions

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners voted to authorize two special designated liquor permits for September receptions. Commissioner Chris Bruns moved to authorize the Chair to sign the permit for Highway 2 Depot for a reception at The Farmhouse on September 3, 2026; Commissioner Jerry Woodruff seconded and the motion passed with all five commissioners voting 'aye.'
Later in the meeting Commissioner Jerry Woodruff moved to authorize a permit for DEAM LLC (Axes & Aces) for a reception at the Taft Building on September 5, 2026, with Commissioner Joe Hewgley seconding; the board again voted unanimously to approve the authorization. The minutes record the dates, host organizations and locations for both permits.
