Lincoln County board approves minutes, receipts and claims; mileage rate unchanged

At its Aug. 3 meeting the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners approved minutes, received treasurer receipts, ordered the delinquent tax list filed, approved claims for payment, and confirmed the mileage reimbursement rate will remain 72.5 cents per mile. All recorded votes were unanimous.
The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 3 approved routine consent items including the July 27, 2026 meeting minutes, receipt and filing of the county treasurer’s receipts, and ordering the delinquent tax list as of July 29, 2026 to be received and filed. Commissioner Micaela Wuehler moved to approve the minutes with Commissioner Joe Hewgley seconding; "Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Weems, Wuehler, Bruns and Woodruff voted ‘aye’. Nays, none."
The board also approved presented claims for payment as part of the consent business. The published claims list in the minutes shows vendor payments including MNCPL L&W for $22,933.24, SAPP BROS for $34,587.95 and PDQ.COM for $3,535.20. The meeting record shows the consent motions carried with unanimous roll call votes. The board noted there would be no change to the county mileage reimbursement rate, which "will stay at 72.5 cents per mile."
