Dixon City names David Dunn employee of the year, honors staff for service

City staff member Rachel read the list of awardees and said, "Congratulations to David Dunn, senior water operator, for his dedication to providing excellent customer service and teamwork." Rachel noted employees received 5-, 10-, 15- and 20-year recognitions and highlighted star-award recipients selected for customer service, safety, teamwork and cost savings. City Manager Jim Lindley presented the employee-of-the-year honor on Dec. 13, 2024.
The council applauded the honorees and took no formal action beyond acknowledgment. The item was informational; staff said award recipients were asked to come forward for photographs and recognition.
