Resident highlights wide housing range in Harvest proposal — 4,415 to 8,752 homes depending on option
Summary
An online commenter directed council to staff document 7.1 and pointed out the Harvest project's proposed housing ranges (low 4,415; mid 6,389; high 8,752), saying the wide range explains varying figures in public discussion and that exact numbers will be refined before project approvals.

During the public‑comment period Nicole Bennett, connecting online, asked the council to refer to staff attachment Document 7.1 to clarify differing public estimates for the Harvest project.
Bennett said the document shows a low estimate of 4,415 homes, a mid estimate of 6,389 and a high estimate of 8,752 homes, and argued the wide range explains why speakers and council members have cited different totals in past discussions. "The low number is 4,415, the mid number is 6,389, but the high number is 8,752," Bennett said. She added the proposal would need to be tailored and refined before final documents are prepared.
Council did not take action on the Harvest project at the meeting; Bennett's comment was entered as public input for council and staff consideration. The council and staff indicated they would continue to work through project details in future agenda items and that staff documents would be the reference point for technical questions.
