Commissioners approve sick-leave bank request and close four inactive Title 12 funds

Chief of Staff Chris Cloud informed the board that a Department of Health employee’s request for sick leave bank days met the employee handbook criteria; the commissioners approved the request by motion.
Cloud also presented four Title 12 financial funds to be closed as they were out of funds and no longer used by the establishing departments: Article 44 Huguenard Road EDA Fund; Article 70 Huguenard II TIF Fund; Article 122 Nestle II Bond Principal and Interest Account; and Article 159 Little River Joint Drain Maintenance Fund. Commissioners approved the closures by motion, then approved waiving second readings as needed during the session. No public comment was offered and the meeting adjourned at 10:42 a.m.
