City begins rollout of FirstNet phones and Tyler finance portal, payroll slated for September

"Our department heads are going to, for the 1st time, have real access to their budgets in real time," Cole said, adding that the treasurer and accounts payable staff were instrumental in the implementation.
Council members asked follow‑up questions about recent street work and signage; staff said they would investigate those operational questions separately. Cole said the next technical portal to come online after accounts payable is payroll, followed by utilities.
