At its May 20 meeting the Avon Planning Commission took the following recorded actions:
• Approved minutes of April 15, 2026 (vote: 4 AYES, 1 ABSTENTION — Mr. Fitch abstained).
• Approved a 0.3798‑acre lot split at 31602 Schwartz Road contingent on final engineering and a recorded deed restriction barring structures (PL20260017).
• Approved the Final Development Plan for the Mills Road flexible office/warehouse development (PL20260012) contingent on final engineering and receipt of sanitary tie‑in confirmation from North Ridgeville.
• Approved a lot split (1.5868 acres) and a Final Development Plan for Achieve Credit Union at 2295 Nagel Road (PL20260021; PL20260019) and issued a positive referral to City Council for a drive‑thru Special Use Permit (PL20260020), all contingent upon final engineering and legal approval of required easement agreements.
• Approved a positive recommendation to City Council to rezone 34550 Chester Road from C‑4/O‑2 to C‑4/M‑1/O‑2 (PL20260018).
• Approved deletion of the Westhaven Estates preliminary plat at the applicant's request and adjourned the meeting at 7:32 p.m.
All approvals were recorded on the record; where staff identified outstanding items (engineering review, easement agreements, sanitary confirmation), those items were expressly made conditions of approval or withholding transmittal to City Council.
