The Parks & Recreation Board reviewed the village's spring and summer calendar, highlighting Community Project Pride/Tree Give Away on April 25, a Master Gardener talk at Eastwood Preserve on April 26, a Pollinator Powwow on June 14, and Community Day Aug. 7–9. "Community Project Pride is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from 9 am until noon," the director reported, and the board encouraged residents to sign up for volunteer shifts and event roles.
Recreation programming includes tennis and pickleball lessons running June 8 through Aug. 5 (Mondays and Wednesdays), a Butterfly Camp on July 25, and pre‑order Richfield T‑shirt sales to allow residents to order sizes and quantities ahead of events. The director also said summer camp accounting is completed and that the February invoice from Broadview Heights Recreation Center for $4,490 covered 20 vouchers representing 15 households and five seniors — a total of 61 residents — while the March invoice had not yet been received. Board members asked staff to continue outreach for instructors and volunteer coordinators; the director provided a contact email for potential instructors.
