Bob Kelly elected chair as Exeter BRC kicks off FY2027 budget process

The Budget Recommendations Committee elected Bob Kelly chair during its Aug. 5 kickoff meeting and confirmed Anna Grazer as vice chair by voice vote.
"Oh, I would love to nominate Bob Kelly for chair," said Chris Suter during the nominations, and the committee approved Kelly by voice. The committee is starting its work ahead of the select board’s September review; Kelly said the group will meet regularly to review department budgets, hold subcommittee sessions and prepare recommendations for the select board.
Members heard process guidance for subcommittee work and were asked to submit subcommittee preferences by email. The committee’s next full meeting for the budget presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the same meeting room.
