Chavez warned that inaccurate mailing addresses remain a principal cause of undeliverable ballots and noted that automatic voter registration through motor vehicle updates still requires voters to confirm addresses when they receive a confirmation letter.
Commissioners agreed a short special meeting may be needed to canvas Corona ballots before the next regular meeting. Clerk staff will continue outreach and may call a brief meeting March 30 to complete the Corona canvas if necessary.
