The committee requested that legal staff examine contract language and consumer protections before any town endorsement.
Board members asked operational questions about CMP coordination, credit allocation based on trailing 12‑month usage and how business accounts would participate. Solar Simplified said it currently has projects under construction in nearby towns and would not build in Wells immediately but could enroll Wells customers to its existing projects.
