Sidney board approves agenda and schedules Aug. 17 regular meeting

The Sidney Community School District Board of Directors convened a special meeting July 31 and approved the meeting agenda with amendments before considering substantive items.
Director Megan Franks moved to approve the agenda with amendments; Director Teresa Graham seconded. The board voted 5–0 to carry the motion.
Board members also announced the next regular board meeting date and time: Aug. 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., to be held at the Sidney Jr./Sr. High School Library, 2754 Knox Road, Sidney, Iowa. The meeting record shows the special session adjourned at 8:09 a.m. after completing the agenda.
The meeting was called to order by Board Secretary Christy Briley at 7:30 a.m. and included virtual attendance by several board members and district administrators.
