After returning from closed session on April 28, the Georgetown‑Ridge Farm CUD 4 board approved item 8j, extending the district director of curriculum and technology’s contract for four years and recording an intent to retire at the end of the 2029–2030 school year. The motion (moved by Nancy Dalenburg and seconded by Ange Carlton) specified salary increases of 5% in the first of the final four years and 6% in each of the three subsequent years.
The contract extension had been tabled earlier in the meeting. The post‑closed‑session roll‑call on the approval lists Ange Carlton, Betsy Daily, Nancy Dalenburg, Greg Emmert, Heather Roberts, Mark Learnard and Lori Starwalt as voting; the minutes record no nays and indicate the motion carried.
