Committee approves $3.39 million in county accounts; treasurer says new tax bill has been mailed

The committee recommended that the County Board approve monthly county accounts totaling $3,394,906.96 after discussion and a motion by Member Rex Kiser. Member Dale Stiles seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Treasurer Vincent reported on office activity including taxes, interest, and current CD rates and noted that the new tax bill has been mailed. Chair Mark Burton asked that the committee revise its year-end review practice so that line-item overages are reviewed at the fund level only: "I would like to revise the way we review line item overages at the end of the year and would like to see this done at the fund level only," Burton said.
