The Village reported that construction at Marcus Christ Hall is progressing and that the Village closed a $2.5 million bond on June 16 to finance the project. "The Clerk’s office closed on a $2.5 million bond on Tuesday, June 16th for the Marcus Crist Hall construction project which will be paid back over 15 years," the Clerk's Office reported to the board.
Project updates cited by village staff list full interior painting underway, majority of rough electric and plumbing completed, interior plumbing and bathroom partitions installed, cabinetry and countertops in place, and bathroom tiling and grouting finished. The board said the Clerk’s Office will manage the bond repayment over a 15-year schedule and will continue to provide updates as punch-list items are completed.
