New and returning members introduce themselves to Planning and Community Affairs committee

My district is district 171," and described the district as largely agricultural, naming Decatur, Bainbridge and Cairo. Other members offered brief introductions: Representative Noel Kahan (District 81) and Representative Beth Camp (District 135) named counties and localities in their districts; Representative Robert Flournoy said his newly drawn District 74 includes parts of Clayton and Henry counties; Representative Clint Crow described the 118th District; Representative Derek Jackson outlined the 68th District; Vice Chair Patty Marie Stinson identified District 150 and noted travel distances within her district; Representative Charlize Byrd introduced District 20; and Representative Griffin spoke about Baldwin County and institutions including Georgia College and State University and Georgia Military College.
Members used introductions to orient new colleagues to the committee and to highlight the geographic diversity represented in the committee's membership.
