BLM field office lists solar, substation, lithium and wild‑horse projects in White Pine County

He said the Pantheon Solar Project had been approved by the Secretary of the Interior but the developers had been asked for additional information, the Crosstie Project was undergoing another internal BLM review, and construction for the Robinson Summit Substation would start this summer. He also listed Active NEPA matters including Red Mountain Lithium and a Bald Mountain Mine modification in environmental assessment.
McVicars described active land‑management operations beyond energy and minerals: bait‑and‑water gathers targeted about 300 wild horses along Highway 50 south through Duckwater/Currant, and two other gathers west of Highway 93 were planned for roughly 1,000 horses combined. He also noted a forthcoming decision timeline for DSA 2000 and a planned land sale for parcels southwest of Crosstimbers and northwest of Ely; committee members asked for a consolidated list of projects for local review.
