Poth ISD reports July tax collections and earns A rating from Texas Education Agency

At the Aug. 18 meeting, Chief Financial Officer Braden Lyssy presented the monthly tax collections report, July 2025 revenues and expenditures, bank cash positions, budget forecasting, certified property values, and discussed the state's funding lag effect on the district. The board received these operations and finance updates.
Superintendent Dr. Albert Byrom provided enrollment updates. Assistant Superintendent Laura Kroll and campus principals reported that Poth ISD received an A rating from the Texas Education Agency. Campus and department administrators provided additional updates to the board; the minutes do not record further public discussion or questions on the reports.
