White Pine County wildlife board approves $10,912 FY2027 budget request

Board Secretary Kayla Couch presented the White Pine County CAB’s fiscal-year 2027 budget request totaling $10,912.15 and said the request includes an additional $1,000 line for operational overages. "I had prepared the budget for the 2026–2027 fiscal year in the total amount of $10,912.15," Couch told the board.
The board unanimously approved the request after discussion. Board member Thomas Brunson moved to approve the FY2027 budget request, and Board member Ray Sawyer seconded; the motion carried with no opposition. Couch reported that Chairman Mitchell McVicars had already signed the request and that it was forwarded to the State Finance Department. The board also reviewed an account sheet from the interim county finance director showing the CAB’s remaining balance and how next year’s budget was adjusted to reflect the request.
