Dolowich highlighted reduced costs for students — the only nominal fee is a $15 health fee — and that Calculus 3 will use an open‑source textbook (district will print copies as requested). He described ongoing steps: conduct a student interest survey to identify future courses, confirm instructor availability across Peralta’s colleges and finalize schedules so courses fit the district calendar. Board members welcomed the rollout and urged earlier outreach and recruitment to secure cohorts for subsequent years.
