The Piedmont City Council approved the consent calendar by unanimous roll call vote. Items included approval of corrected minutes (with a correction to page 2 of the May 5 minutes), acceptance of improvements for the FY24–25 street tree pruning project, designation of projects under Senate Bill 1 (SB1) road maintenance for FY25–26 and authorization for the finance director to modify the budget to reflect those revenues (with an associated CEQA exemption), and a consulting services agreement with Dietz & Bacha Urban and Regional Planners for up to $179,440 to implement 11 housing element programs and related subdivision and zoning code updates.
Mayor Betsy Smigel Anderson asked for a motion; Council member Long moved the consent calendar with the noted corrections and Council member Ramsey seconded. The items passed unanimously with council members recorded as "Aye."
