Piedmont proclaims May 2025 Wildfire Awareness Month; evacuation drill planned for June 14

Fire Chief Dave Brannigan emphasized the community role: "We... send firefighters to mutual aid assignments, including Los Angeles this year," and urged residents to "please come help us help you" by preparing and participating in drills. The council recognized the importance of public education and regional emergency planning to strengthen community resilience.
