Hampton Park infield turf replacement contract signed; installation expected once materials arrive

The Park Commission heard that a contract is signed for a replacement of the Hampton Park infield artificial turf. Nancy (staff) said turf and infill samples are under review and that Lloyd Engineering assisted with a layout that will allow localized removal and replacement of high-wear areas in the future.
If materials arrive as planned, staff said the on-site installation of the infield could take as little as a week. The infield will be closed during installation; other park areas will remain open. Staff plans to finalize material approvals and provide installation timing to the commission.
