City staff told the Park Commission that the Piedmont Park ADA access and swings project is under construction with contractor Modernscape Innovations. Work completed to date includes grading and removal of concrete paving; staff said they have addressed some drainage questions and that HortScience staff (Daria) visited the site to review tree-root conflict areas.
Nancy (staff) said the project schedule was coordinated with Piedmont Unified School District to minimize conflicts at school start and estimated a roughly four-week construction window for the work described. Commissioners had no substantive objections and moved on to the next project update.
