After adjourning into executive session to consider personnel matters, the council reconvened and approved hiring Aria Chaney as a Police Dispatcher at $14.00 per hour with a six-month probation period (motion by Jeff Roberts, second Heather Green). The council also approved hiring Ivan Bennett as Animal Control Officer at $14.00 per hour with a six-month probation (motion by Jeff Roberts, second Dorothy Livingston).
Both hires were approved by roll call vote with Church, Fletcher, Green, Livingston and Roberts recorded as voting ‘Aye.’ The executive session was authorized under 25 O.S. §307(B)(1).
