Bristow council approves May payroll and multi-item consent agenda

The Bristow City Council approved the May 4, 2026 minutes and a consent agenda on May 18 that included multiple claims and payroll estimates. Councilmember Joe Church moved approval and the roll call recorded Church, Fletcher, Green, Johns, Livingston and Roberts voting aye.
The consent agenda included maintenance claims of $56,765.52, unpaid claims of $309.26, paid claims of $18.00, actual payroll claims of $97,707.76 for the pay period ending May 8, 2025, and estimated payroll claims of $112,597.54 for the pay period ending May 22, 2026 and $6,421.58 for May 29, 2026 (fire department uniform allowance). The council also approved Claim #20204 to Andy Armstrong for $1,000 for grant administration (paid from the Grant Match Fund) and authorized Mayor Kris Wyatt to execute the renewal application for Wastewater Discharge Permit OK0032549 (Facility ID S20717) with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.
The approvals set the council’s administrative and payroll obligations ahead of a special budget workshop scheduled for May 27, 2026.
