Armstrong County approves FY 2026–2027 placement-provider purchase-of-service agreements

The list of approved providers includes Alternative Living Solutions (Latrobe, PA); City Mission – Living Stones (Uniontown, PA); Merakey (Lafayette Hill, PA); Pressley Ridge (Pittsburgh, PA); Perseus House, Inc. (Erie, PA); Jefferson County Juvenile Detention Center (Steubenville, OH); and Melody Manor. Commissioner Anthony G. Shea moved the approval and Commissioner Pat Fabian seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The agreements authorize the county to contract with out-of-county vendors for placement services in FY 2026–2027. The meeting minutes do not state contract lengths, per-client rates, or total expected fiscal exposure for the county. County staff will handle individual contract execution and any further scheduling or budget reporting related to those agreements.
