Board tables Cross Creek Nursery duplex amendment after residents, planning commission raise precedent concerns

Multiple board members and residents urged caution, saying allowing a broad rental exemption could "pave the way" for other duplexes in areas not zoned for them and that the planning commission had previously denied a similar request. After extended discussion the board voted to table the amendment and hold an advertised public hearing so more neighborhood input can be collected and planning‑commission language clarified.
