Micah Andersen, Jail Administrator for the Sheriff’s Office, recommended the Board begin contract negotiations with Integrated Nursing Solutions, LLC for jail medical services, noting the current contract ends June 30, 2026. Andersen said the recommendation "is based on the RFP committee’s evaluation of cost, staffing, expertise and qualifications" and recommended the county negotiate with the incumbent provider.
The Board approved the recommendation by roll call vote. Andersen provided details about the evaluation criteria; the meeting record shows the Board did not amend the recommendation and authorized the county to proceed into contract negotiations.
