Beadle County approves two plats and adopts provisional 2027 budget resolution

The board adopted Resolutions 07-02-26 and 07-03-26 approving plats for Bauman Outlot 1 and Gross Hill Outlots 1 & 2, and adopted Resolution 7-04-26 adopting the provisional 2027 budget with a public hearing set for Sept. 1, 2026 and final adoption on Sept. 29, 2026.
The Beadle County Commission adopted two platting resolutions and a provisional budget resolution at its July 30 meeting. Resolution 07-02-26 approved the plat of Bauman Outlot 1 in the NW 1/4 of Section 9, Township 112 North, Range 62 West; Resolution 07-03-26 approved Gross Hill Outlots 1 & 2 in Section 23, Township 113 North, Range 61 West. The auditor was instructed to endorse and certify both plats.
The board also adopted Resolution 7-04-26 adopting the provisional budget for Beadle County for 2027 and published notice that the board will meet at the courthouse in Huron on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. for a public hearing on the provisional budget, with final adoption scheduled for Sept. 29, 2026. The minutes provide the statutory notice and invite any interested person to appear in person or by representative for discussion.
