PAISD board approves consent agenda including SRO agreement, election filing designation (7-0)
Summary
At its Dec. 10, 2025 meeting, the Port Aransas ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda by unanimous roll call, accepting minutes, designating an election filing authority for May 2, 2026, and approving a School Resource Officer interlocal agreement with the City of Port Aransas.
The Port Aransas Independent School District Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda at the Dec. 10, 2025 regular meeting by a 7–0 roll-call vote.
Brett Stawar moved to accept the consent agenda and Daniel Johnson seconded; the board president and all members voted yes. The consent package included approval of the Nov. 19, 2025 regular meeting minutes, designation of the executive assistant to the superintendent as the election filing authority for the May 2, 2026 general election, and approval of the School Resource Officer (SRO) interlocal agreement with the City of Port Aransas. The minutes record the vote as "7 - For / 0 - Against / 0 - Abstained."
