Board accepts $1,500 booster donation and confirms athletic staffing and schedules

The Odessa Athletic Booster Club donated $1,500 toward a new softball pitching machine, a gift the board voted to accept on March 25. "Action: Zach Schafer moved and Sheena Starkel seconded a motion to accept the $1,500 donation towards a softball pitching machine from the Odessa Athletic Booster Club as recommended by Superintendent Fisk. Motion carried. 4- 0," the minutes state.
Athletic Director Larry Moffet reported that junior high track and baseball schedules are complete and that interviews for the high school head girls basketball coach will be held the following day. Moffet also announced coaching recommendations brought to the board for approval (Joshua Clark, Mark Sebesta, Tyler Smith and Brayton Schafer) and provided participation counts from recent camps.
