The board voted Aug. 6 to authorize advertisement of an ordinance accepting certain roadways for PennDOT liquid‑fuels reimbursement. Township staff said two roads from Millbrook Farms Phase 6 were accepted by the township on Oct. 2, 2025, but missed the reimbursement cutoff last year; adding them now will allow reimbursement this year.
Staff also noted the portion of Orchard Road from the railroad tracks to Scenic View needs to be removed from the liquid‑fuels map because Norfolk Southern’s new crossing changed the roadway terminus. The board approved proceeding with the ordinance and directed staff to forward the resolution to PennDOT once adopted.
