Township staff told the board Aug. 6 that proposed amendments to Chapter 22 (the subdivision and land‑development ordinance, SALDO) are administrative and intended to improve the township's review and processing of plan submissions. Planner Nate Jones said the edits were compiled from items raised by the township engineer, community development director and zoning officer.
The board moved and seconded authorization to advertise the SALDO changes and approved the motion. Staff said the advertisement will notify interested parties and bring the ordinance back for a public hearing once materials are finalized.
