District celebrates staff and student awards; reports FAFSA submission goal met

Staff awards included Mrs. Biancardi as Blackhawk Teacher of the Month and Mrs. Klosinski as Blackhawk Employee of the Month. The minutes say the district joined "240 schools that obtained or succeeded FASFA submission goals. Goal Achieved over 70%." Athletic and community recognitions were recorded: Cole Swanson won the PCC Mental Attitude Award for golf, Tri‑Kappa received an award at the Westville Chamber of Commerce meeting, and Maverick Markos received an Educator Excellence Award.
Presentations and student speakers from the Math Department and other classes were listed; Mrs. Zdankiewicz and Mrs. Zaiko described elementary school projects and Mrs. Lancaster presented on the Math Department and Math Bowl participants. No formal board action was required for these reports.
