The MSD of New Durham Township School Board on April 9 approved a package of routine personnel actions and administrative documents, including resignations, new hires and student handbooks for the 2025–26 school year. Board President Mark Parkman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., and multiple motions were presented and approved during the nearly one-hour session.
The board accepted a slate of personnel changes: resignations by Bryce Barton (boys' basketball freshmen coach), Jocelyn Colburn (middle school girls head coach) and Kyle Sonaty (varsity boys head coach); a non-renewal for cafeteria worker Carol Webster and coach Stephanie Irk; and recommendations to hire Briana Billups (guidance counselor), Mindy Rouse (substitute teacher) and Ken Markos (varsity baseball assistant). According to the minutes, Mrs. Jedrysek moved to approve the personnel items and Mr. Hodge seconded the motion; the record states, “Motion carried.”
