Operations Supervisor Justin Parr told the board Feb. 24 that the district’s electric bus is in for repairs in Spokane and that he is collaborating with the athletic director on spring transportation schedules. Parr said he is working with Custom Energy on an energy grant and noted that pending legislative changes could reduce bus depreciation funding for districts, potentially extending Odessa’s two-year bus rotation plan.
The Athletic Booster Club has inquired about gym improvements, including sound panels, repainting and replacement record boards. Parr and Athletic Director Larry Moffet discussed coordination needs for transportation and facilities projects; the board did not approve capital work at the meeting but recorded the Booster Club’s requests for follow-up.
