Committee approves Highway Fund amendment and several administrative budget measures
Summary
The committee approved an amendment to Highway Fund 131 for FY2025–2026 and adopted related administrative actions including sale/disposal of county vehicles, multi-year lease authorizations and other housekeeping measures as part of the budget process.
April Tallman presented an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2025–2026 Highway Fund (Fund 131). Commissioner Mike Chambers moved to approve the amendment and Commissioner Gary Cole seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The committee also approved administrative measures integral to budget execution: Resolution 2026-06-16 authorizing sale and disposal of vehicles and equipment for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, and Resolution 2026-06-17 authorizing multi-year lease purchases and maintenance agreements. Each item was moved, seconded and adopted unanimously during the same session where county staff presented the fiscal updates and budget documents.
