At a June 16 special steering meeting, the Sevier County Board of Commissioners approved four resolutions to confirm appointments across county boards and commissions.
Vice Mayor Bryan McCarter presented Resolution 2026-06-01 to confirm appointments to the Sevier County Regional Planning Commission; Commissioner Harold Pitner moved to approve and Commissioner Dale Hill seconded. The minutes record the motion passed unanimously. McCarter then presented Resolution 2026-06-02 to appoint a member to the Sevier County Board of Zoning Appeals; Commissioner Carroll Rauhuff moved to approve and Commissioner Pitner seconded, and that motion also passed unanimously. Resolution 2026-06-03 (appointments to the Sevier County Public Library System Board of Trustees) and Resolution 2026-06-04 (appointments to the Sevier County Building and Fire Board of Appeals, presented with Chief David Puckett) were likewise moved, seconded, and approved unanimously in succession.
The transcript records motions, seconders, and that each resolution "passed unanimously," but it does not list individual roll-call votes or the names of appointees in the text.
