Summary
Union representatives asked for notification when items are placed in personnel files, cited Minnesota Statute 125.08 subd. 2 on paraprofessionals, and requested that union drop dates (Sept. 1–30) be submitted in writing to the union representative rather than the business office.

At the Dec. 17, 2025 negotiations, Education Minnesota, Menahga Paraprofessionals asked that employees receive notification for any material placed in personnel files and explicitly cited Minnesota Statute 125.08 subdivision 2 regarding paraprofessionals. The minutes record this as the first of the union's 12 items for consideration.
The union also requested that union drop dates (Sept. 1–30) be required in writing to a union representative rather than submitted to the district business office. The minutes do not record a district response or any formal policy change; the parties proceeded to caucus and resumed later the same evening.
