Board honors retirees, approves retirement resolutions R-26-38 through R-26-42

The Board recognized the retirements of Mary Giacoletto, Ann Michalski, Claire Rich, Alexander Vivas and Kathleen Zarlenga and approved Retirement Resolutions R-26-38 through R-26-42 by a 5-0 voice vote. Each retiree received a District resolution plaque, a bouquet of flowers and certificates from City of Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County and the State of California representatives as available.
District leaders and trustees offered remarks thanking the retirees for their service. The recognition was presented immediately following a district staff recognition session supported by California Credit Union; staff members Sharon Murray, Neyda Salazar and Traci Okihara were recognized earlier in the meeting.
