Board holds first reading of multiple policy revisions; formal action set for April 29

Superintendent Tucci Osorio presented a first formal reading on March 18 of a package of policy revisions covering harassment and violence (policy 413), student publications and activities (512), student medication (516), interviews of students by outside agencies (519), textbooks and instructional materials (606), library materials (606.5), testing accommodations and exemptions (615), literacy and The Reading Act (621), budget adoption (701) and uniform grant guidelines (721).
Tucci Osorio noted these policies were first discussed at the March 4, 2025 work-study session and that the board will be asked to take action on the revisions at the April 29, 2025 business meeting. The minutes do not include the full policy text; presentation of the packet and formal public-facing documents are expected to accompany the April meeting.
