Board approves consent calendar, facility use licenses and consultant agreements

The Board approved a comprehensive Consent Calendar by voice vote on May 27 that included the 2026–2027 Schedule of Rates for Facilities Use; license agreements with Camp Sunshine, Inc. at Pinetree, Fair Oaks Ranch and Mitchell Community Schools; license agreements and addenda with the Santa Clarita Valley YMCA at multiple sites; and multiple consultant agreements for Expanded Learning Opportunities Program activities (including Mobile Ed Productions, Good Times LA Photo Booth and Arcadia Audiometric Associates).
Other consent items included an obsolete materials listing (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Math Expressions for California, 2015), a food services agreement for ELO‑P, and a memorandum of understanding with Newhall School District regarding the Teacher Induction Agreement. The Board approved the Consent Calendar 4‑0 and asked staff clarifying questions during the presentation.
