The board also approved a consent calendar covering personnel actions: the hire of Melinda Thorson as a paraprofessional (Grade 5 Step 5, effective March 31, 2025); a status change for Dawn Blair (Laker Legends Site Lead, moved to Grade 6 Step 5 effective March 1, 2025); an $8,000 stipend for Bridget Gallagher to be paid from March 31–June 30, 2025 and billed to Lac Qui Parle; and resignations from Jessica Davies (Head Cook, effective April 4, 2025), Mindy DeGeer (Early Interventionist, effective June 30, 2025) and Jarrid Jergenson (Junior High Soccer Coach, effective April 16, 2025).
The motions to approve the minutes, claims, donations and consent items carried by roll call vote with the board voting Aye: Barsness, T. Reichmann, A. Reichmann, Ogdahl, Lagred, Zavadil and Moeller; Zavadil recorded an abstention specifically on the donations resolution.
