Carbon Cliff staff to attend state municipal and water conferences this summer
Summary
Director Nick Gottwalt will attend the IMTA conference (June 7–9) and the Illinois Rural Water Association administrative conference (July 16–17); Village President Bill Hintz and Director Gottwalt plan to attend the Illinois Municipal League conference in September.
The board recorded planned staff attendance at several industry conferences this year. Director Nick Gottwalt will attend the 2026 IMTA Conference in East Peoria (June 7–9) and the Illinois Rural Water Association Administrative Conference in Effingham (July 16–17). Village President Bill Hintz and Director Gottwalt also plan to attend the Illinois Municipal League 113th Annual Conference in Chicago (Sept. 17–19).
The minutes list hotels and dates for the conferences but do not record registration or travel costs. Trustees were invited to notify Director Gottwalt if they wished to attend the IML conference as well.
