The resolution, moved by Zastrow and seconded by Zahnow, lists donors and designated purposes including multiple $100–$500 community gifts for the Elementary Color Run, a $5,000 anonymous gift to Dollars For Scholars, a $2,000 donation from the Stan Hortness Memorial Lions Club for Post Prom, and a six‑ton steel donation (valued at $6,000) from Felling Trailer for the welding class.
Board members voted unanimously to adopt the resolution (Aye: Gohman, Hollenkamp, Levin, Wolf, Wright, Zahnow and Zastrow). The resolution lists dozens of donors by name and purpose (elementary Color Run, Post Prom, Dollars For Scholars, Trap Team, welding class equipment, sponsor-a-preschooler items and school patrol flags/vests). The board record shows the district accepted both cash and in-kind contributions and designated their uses in accordance with Minnesota statutory guidance on receiving gifts for schools.
