The motion to sign the resolution was moved by Trustee Krystal Craven and seconded by Trustee Diana Corkill; the roll call vote was 4–0, with Trustee Delana Martin absent. Trustees said the action preserves flexibility to pursue better rates while maintaining required notice periods.
The district will follow statutory notice timelines and return with any recommended insurance changes or cost comparisons for board consideration.
